We are happy to inform you that Boškinac restaurant has been enlisted among 63 restaurants recommended by MICHELIN Guide Croatia for year 2019. It is a great honour to receive such recognition that proves again how much we care about the quality of our gastro offer.
Michelin Guide recommendation is a great motivation to keep developing our offer and experimenting with the extent of modern elements in the traditional ways of preparing the meals.
The Michelin brothers came up with the idea for the guidebook in late 19th century France (Clermont-Ferrand, 1889) in order to motivate people, especially motorists, to explore more and plan easier while travelling. The Guide had road maps and brought useful tips and information on where to eat, sleep, fill up the petrol, or how to fix the small problems with the motor vehicles. In 1926 they began to award stars for the best diners. Since then, the Michelin Guide has developed into best-selling and one of the most prestigious acknowledging platforms for dinners and restaurants worldwide.
By taking care of our gastronomic tradition, combining it with the contemporary lifestyle and standards of food preparation, by enriching it with our patiently grown indigenous grape varieties and producing high-quality wines, we will keep insisting on excellence.
Our menus for spring, summer and fall offer dishes prepared from the variety of tasty and fresh seasonal island ingredients such as local herbs, Pag lamb, fish, cheese, octopus, shellfish, asparagus…and many other delightful and delicious seasonal choices. Every year, we introduce some novelties in the menu and in the food preparation. At the same time, the highest culinary standards share the first position with our dear guests on the list of our priorities.
