The fundamental mission of our cellar is the conservation of the indigenous grape variety Gegić. By taking grafts of these old vines, a new vineyard was raised to save the indigenous variety. The Gegić wine is our passion and obsession. We want to present to the world the best and most unique feature of our island, and that is Gegić!
In the vineyard, we grow both reds and whites. The reds include the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, while whites include Chardonnay and Sauvignon. And that is how our vineyard was created, and has since given rise to some of Croatia's best wines. In the winery, the family tradition of wine production has continued.
The Boškinac cellar is best known for its coupage of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. We are exceptionally proud of the successes this wine has achieved on the market, and the fondness shown by numerous wine lovers and experts both from Croatia and beyond. In our winery, we also produce several white labels of macerated wines, white coupage and several red label and dessert wines. We recommend that you visit our winery and try them to see for yourself.
